April Roundup: Make Integration, Zapier, new Event series, and more.
The Roundup gives you a 360-degree look at everything Glide's been up to over the last month.
The April Roundup
April was all about automation—we unveiled our new Make integration, and revamped our Zapier integration. These two powerful launches gave your Glide apps access to thousands of new connections, and near infinite new potential. We also helped you integrate with anything in our Intro to APIs guide. We're seeing great traction with Certification, and even launched a new event series. Let's take a look at the highlights...
Make Partnership & Integration
Our new Make integration allows users to add, edit, and delete data in their Glide apps, as well as get rows from Glide data sources, directly from Make. By allowing you to connect with and create complex, automated workflows across thousands of services and tools, Make enables you to build much more dynamic and interconnected Glide apps.
While Zapier + Glide is nothing new, we've reworked our integration to greatly improve the experience of building Zaps for Glide. You can now initiate Glide actions directly through the Zapier interface, like triggering single-row operations, fetching all rows in a table, and synchronizing your app data with over seven thousand tools across the Zapier ecosystem.
Since launching Certification Level 3 in March, users have been rushing to claim their coveted "Fully Certified" status. Elevate your app-building skills, impress your colleagues and clients, charge more for your services, and earn a beautiful Glide Certified badge to share on your LinkedIn & website, for free. If you're not Glide Certified yet, this is your sign to get started.
Earlier today we hosted our first Innovators at Work event. We spoke with the COO of CarboNet about the impacts of effective knowledge sharing on their team's efficiency and operations.
When Matt got his hands on Glide, he spent a weekend away taking app recommendations from his friends, and impressing them all by installing those apps on their phones that same day. Before long, he had sold his traditional software agency and started building solutions for clients using no code instead. Hear more about Matt's journey with no code, and about that time he accidentally bought a car online...
Our friends at The Bold Bureau just launched a powerful Glide solution for the Brantford Twin Valley Zoo. The app is connected to the Zoo's Webflow website and Airtable database, allowing their team to use their integrated tech stack as an end-to-end ticket purchase and processing system, powered by no code.
